Auditing and Security Support

Auditing: All organisations should, as part of their internal Quality Assurance programme, carry out audits, inspections or assessments on their operation.  Whilst it is relatively easy to review airport security standards affecting your operation, it is more time consuming to review training standards, lesson plans, operational manuals and contingency procedures.  We work with our clients to ensure they receive a compressive report highlighting vulnerabilities to their operation, as well as providing a detailed assessment of the level of risk each aspect may cause and how to mitigate, correct and protect all staff, travellers and assets.

Covert Testing: Many organisations wrongly believe that the purpose of covert testing is to catch security personnel out, being complacent or to detect breaches in their security. While these types of incidents do make great headlines and scare the public, the reality is that covert testing is a tool to ‘identify all vulnerabilities’ and uncover weaknesses in training, procedures, policies and/or technology.

Covert testing is a strategic tool in the fight against terrorism and criminality; irrespective of whether testing is conducted on behalf of the airline industry, airports, insurers or underwriters, covert testing is extremely successful at identifying ‘credible risk’ and vulnerability as well as offering focused protection measures. Covert testing is becoming increasingly popular with both insurers and underwriters who wish to assess risk levels of their own customers.  Mindful of this and the recent media infiltrations, we tailor our covert testing to encompass all aspects of security and especially those facets considered to be vulnerable to exploitation. 

Covert Teams: Redline’s assessors are trained first and foremost in covert operations and information gathering. Therefore we are able to target specific areas of an operation, or conduct holistic testing ranging anywhere from several hours to many weeks or months covering the entire spectrum of vulnerability.  All our teams are well versed in the requirements of legislation and regulation and industry best practice.

Confidentiality: Because we work for both the aviation industry and their insurers, we are totally customer focused and ‘insist’ on legal confidentiality between the client and the assessor to ensure that the only those required to know are made aware of our findings in a secure report. To guarantee confidentiality and to provide peace of mind to our clients, all testing and reporting staffs are security cleared to SC as a minimum.  Our confidence is such that we provide an initial free consultation and assessment with a preview of our findings.
