Air Cargo & Mail Security Course

This course is designed to enable participants to integrate knowledge of ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) into the context of their designated role in their organization as part of a national responsibility to secure air cargo and mail against acts of unlawful interference.

Eligibility

The course is aimed at those responsible for the development, implementation and oversight of air cargo and mail security measures, including personnel of civil aviation or other regulatory authorities, airports, airlines, and/or other stakeholders that have an active role in maintaining air cargo and mail security.

The course covers a wide range of modules, including:

  • The Secure Supply Chain
  • Chain of Custody
  • Security of Mail
  • Screening

The course will be delivered through classroom or virtual instruction using presentations, group exercises, discussions and practical exercises.
