In Flight Supplies Training

Course Details

The course is fully compliant with European and National Legislation, delivering the modules as laid down by TRANSEC. We have taken the basic modules and expanded on them in most areas, including practical search training of vehicles, bulk supplies, carts/trolleys and atlas boxes.

By using Redline a line of continuity will run through your organisation, from the cart packers to your security manager, all well versed in their roles and fully supported throughout the mandatory training cycle.

With access to state of the art training facilities we can facilitate training at the National Security Training Centre near Robin Hood Airport, Doncaster or we will provide the same quality of training delivery, media, training aids and professionalism at your own location.

Making a Difference

As a thoroughbred aviation security training provider, certified by the DfT in a variety of specialisations, we are able to blend in-flight supplies with the content of industry leading courses such as the Aviation Security Managers’ course and Recognition of Firearms and Explosives (RFX) courses, thereby adding value and improving the overall training experience and output standard.

As with all of our training courses we adapt the content to the needs of the clients, organisations or operations we support and because our trainers have all worked on, and in the airline industry as cabin staff and instructors, we are able to train from experience, lean on historical lessons learnt and ensure your staff are fully versed in all the legal and obligatory requirements of in flight catering.

Addressing the Threat

Because we also deliver RFX courses we are able to provide real-time, practical training and put your staff into situations that have consequences. Trainees will experience training with inert weapons, components, explosive components all of which can be hidden within the equipment that they are expected to use as part of their normal occupation.

This method of practical training has been proven to improve confidence, credibility and ultimately improve security awareness and tighten procedures.

We offer the following services:

  • All security training requirements
  • Security audits and reviews
  • CCTV floor plans and assessments
  • Covert security audits
  • Pre-inspections
  • Security programme development and document authorship
  • Contingency planning
  • Consultancy advice and support
  • Embedded security managers

Security Support by Professionals

First and foremost we work with complete confidentiality acting diligently as your security advisor. We will audit and/or review your security programme and conduct a gap analysis at your premises to establish a security risk benchmark and provide you with a security gap report.

We measure your organisational security plan, programme, documents, policies, procedures and training records against what is required by TRANSEC and therefore those aspects that may form part of a DFT Inspection, we also go that extra mile and look at the ‘realities’ of where you are most at risk and work with you to implement change in the most cost effective least invasive manner.

The Bottom Line

We recognise that security must work alongside or act as an umbrella to your current catering operation, and Redline security managers and will help implement robust and compliant security measures and procedures that have least impact on your companies bottom-line.

Our report will identify real problems, as well as strengths that will leave you susceptible to, or protected against, criminals, organised crime and/or terrorist related activities.

Security Programme

We can either review your security programme and inform your current training regime, or conversely, we can undertake the responsibility to train your staff in accordance with European and National Legislation.

Where security programmes fall short of that which is required by regulation, or lacks the specific detail required of a robust security programme and plan, we are able to advise on content, structure, procedures, checklists and roles and responsibilities as well as undertaking the requirement to author on your behalf, the entire security programme, supporting documents, staff security procedures and contingency plans.
