Redline is expanding their industry leading style of innovative aviation security training into Africa. Following extensive preparation and in partnership with Yahuda Security Services,
Redline have opened a regional office in Ghana, West Africa, in preparation for the launch of a National Aviation Security Academy in Accra. Yahuda is a Ghanaian based consultancy with whom Redline have formed a strategic alliance in order to bring a range of global experience and expertise to the Sub-Saharan region of Africa. Ghana is seen as the ideal start point for this project as it is globally recognised for its’ stable and forward thinking government. Ghana’s national watchdog, the Ghanaian Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) is modelled closely on the UK’s own CAA and Department for Transport (DfT) and therefore it is envisaged that an integrated security training programme will work well in the region.
The first courses are planned to commence in late 2009. Redline and Yahuda will run an Aviation Security Managers’ course in Accra that is based on the UK DfT mandated syllabus, but tailored specifically to the region and continent. Other courses that will be delivered this year will include the Threat Assessors’ course.
Redline are delighted to receive enquiries from across the Globe and are always happy to discuss the possibility of an overseas visit in order to plan projects face-to-face. We have recently planned trips to Saudi Arabia, Libya, the United States and Nigeria.
