Extensive Cyberattack on Australian F-35 Fighter Jets

Sensitive information was stolen from Australian F-35 Fighter Jets, which officials have described as being an ‘extensive and extreme’ security breach.

It has emerged that back in 2016 around 30 gigabytes of information was stolen, although it was later confirmed as commercial data not military data.

An official from the Australian Signals Directorate stated that technical information regarding smart bombs and a number of naval vessels were also taken during the cyberattack.
