Perimeter Breach at LAX

Passengers had to change planes after a man gained access to the runway at Los Angeles International Airport. The breach in security meant that one aeroplane had to be returned for further examination and many others were delayed.

It is suspected that the man managed to gain access to the runway by climbing a fence. The man was detained while attempting to make a run from the airport police.
