National Civil Aviation Security Training Programme (NCASTP) Workshop

Eligibility

Participants should be at the middle or senior management level personnel with responsibility for the development, implementation and/or oversight of NCASTP.

Course Content 

The workshop covers a wide range of topic areas, including:

• Role and responsibilities of the Appropriate Authority with regards to the NCASTP
• Key elements in the recruitment and selection of Aviation Security (AvSec) personnel at the national and airport level 
• Determining the minimal qualifications for personnel performing AvSec duties
• Defining the purpose and scope of security training

 Course / Workshop Format

This workshop creates an opportunity for participants to develop a draft of NCASTP by utilizing the ICAO template. 

Assessment

There is no formal assessment for this workshop.
