The challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic have shone the spotlight on the efforts of charities and volunteer organisations in supporting their local communities. Many people’s thoughts have turned to giving back to their local community as the pandemic has reminded people nationwide that we rely on one another more than we previously realised.
Doncaster-based Redline Assured Security, part of the safety & security division of aviation solutions provide Air Partner is working to support local communities in its key office locations by partnering with charities, including RealHelp Doncaster, to support those most in need.
RealHelp Doncaster is a multi-organisation scheme that works with individuals and businesses to raise funds for those who are homeless or at risk off homelessness. Its aim is to help people off the streets and into safer, healthier lifestyles. Air Partner is also supporting similar charities based around its operations hubs in Florida, Cologne and Sussex, aiming to reduce food poverty and homelessness and support those in these local communities who are most vulnerable.
“Volunteering in the local community is something close to our hearts across all our divisions here at Air Partner,” explains CEO Mark Briffa. “We encourage staff to take two ‘volunteer days’ per year to work with charities and organisations to support their local community. It’s with this in mind that we’re working to support our local communities and those hit hardest by the Covid-19 pandemic by partnering with charities like RealHelp Doncaster
