For all personnel who are responsible for threat assessment, this course provides an understanding of the principles of the Positive Target Identification (PTI) system. Delegates will also learn how to apply the threat report form to the system, and the consequences of receiving a threat in any format.
This course will guide you through the DfT PTI method of assessing whether a threat is credible or otherwise. This tried and trusted system can help you and your team, whatever area of the industry you fit into.
As part of our constant commitment to upgrading and updating our teaching methods, Redline has added a ‘decision making cycle’ module to the existing DfT training package syllabus. This will assist your threat assessors in making an auditable decision, identifying the threat, which, when applied to a real life situation, could make a huge difference. Our 2017 course dates are:
07 NOV 2017 (NSTC)
05 SEP 2017 (LHR)
02 OCT 2017 (LHR)
13 DEC 2017 (LHR)
Each student will have a tutor to guide him or her through potential pitfalls, giving them the required confidence for making important decisions – something which can only be achieved with the help of a tutor. The ability to ask questions and be guided through real life scenarios will leave your delegates confident in their own abilities and in the PTI system.
