Security Tightened After Terrorist Plot Leaked

Published on in News

Information has been received stating that Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) have started smuggling their members from Syria to Nigeria with the intent to train them to attack commercial flights. The planned terrorist attack on commercial flights was detailed on a leaked letter. This has led to aviation security being increased with increased presence of security personnel and additional screening of passengers and luggage. The amount of Close Circuit Television (CCTV) in use has been increased in critical areas of the airports. This has been put in place to ensure that there is no one at the airport who is not supposed to be.
